Quick Trip Guide
Panguich Lake is located in South Central Utah and sits at 8,400 feet. It is well known for having some of the best Trout fishing in the west and is a favorite fishery for all locals! You can boat, shore, fly, and ice fish here. A short 15 min drive away, and you will be at the Brian Head Ski Resort… Skiing, Biking, Trails, Cedar Breaks, and Dining. In the opposite direction you’ll run into Escalante which is a gateway to Boulder Mountain. Boulder Mountain has hundreds and hundreds of remote lakes and ATV trails. If you go a little south you’ll see the popular National Park of Bryce Canyon… with extraordinary canyons, rock formations, hikes, and sunsets. A short distance Southeast from Bryce canyon, you have the Grand Staircase National Monument… enjoy Horseback riding, rock climbing and canyoneering, in the rugged backcountry. Hwy 89 will take you down to the Kanab area where there are a ton of ATV Trails, both amateur trails and advanced rock crawling trails. You’ll be minutes away from to the famous Coral Pink Sand dunes, which stretch for miles. One hour east of Kanab you will run into the ultimate playground of lake Powell, where you could rent boats, wake board, jet ski, paddle board, fish, and explore for days! Instead of going east at Kanab, if you were to continue south, you would run into one of the wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon! If you head down Hwy 89 and never get to Kanab you’ll have the choice to turn off and see the Popular Zion National Park, which is a paradise to hikers, bikers, climbers and tourists. Zion is well known for its slot canyons, towers and monoliths, rivers and waterfalls, and scenic sandstone. It is Utah's most popular and oldest national park. Not far from Zion National Park, you have St. George Utah. St George has some of the best Golf Courses in the nation, Sand Hollow Lake is nearby, and Plenty of Shopping and dining. Headed Back north towards Panguitch Lake you’ll pass through Cedar City: Also known as “Festival City USA” known for the popular Utah Shakespeare Festival along with many others. As you can see… Staying at Panguitch Lake Utah would be a great “Home Base” for your next big Vacation!
